OUR ROLLER SHADES:

ROLLER shades is another type of window covering.  Roller shades are probably the oldest style of window covering application since the 1940s.  They use to be only spring loaded and a few tugs at the bottom would release a catch and the shade would roll up for full view out the window.  Today they have added a clutch system with a beaded cord to roll the shade up or down.  The clutch system is much more reliable. 

Also, fabricators have added hundreds of patterns and colours with options of sewing colorful borders around the perimeter of the shade and numerous styles of shade bottom designs, giving a scolloped look rather than just traditionally straight.
